Volunteer Position: Assist with Divorce

Population Served: Kids in Chaotic Homes

General summary of volunteer opportunity:
Legal assistance to parents in stabilizing a child in a divorce by assisting with child support, custody and visitation.

Time commitment: Hours per week: Open 
Hours per commitment: 5 - 25 Hours

Length of commitment: One Case Minimum

Location: Dallas County Family Courts; Volunteer's Office

Specific volunteer responsibilities:

1. Provide legal representation for a party in a divorce case.

Volunteer qualifications:

1. Must be a licensed Texas attorney in good standing.

Training provided:

1. Training offered.
2. Documents, mentoring and support are available from staff attorneys.

Optional training provided at: 1515 Main Street, Dallas 75201(Mapsco #45P) or other site
